About Me

I am Liuyang, a public policy specialist focusing on environmental governance, renewable energy, and climate policy in Southeast Asia and China. I hold a PhD in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, NUS, and a Master of Environmental Policy from Duke University.

My research explores policy instruments and their impacts on sustainable development, including pollution control, poverty alleviation, and green technology deployment. I aim to uncover the dynamics between stakeholders in achieving sustainable development goals and seek innovative policy pathways for lasting change. My recent work centers on the role of policies in promoting Solar PV and EV development in Southeast Asia.
